Sorry about the blurry pics my scanner is still broke and my camera sucks!For those of you who say,"Oh i have seen the movie and didn't really get into it" i must urge you to see it on Broadway or at your local theater when you are given the chance. I am a theater fanatic and love a good production. I had a hard time as well getting into the movie Rent. It was good but just didn't hold my attention like other musical movies (Chicago, The Sound of Music, Mary Poppins) did.
With that said seeing it live on stage is like nothing i have ever seen. Whether it was the great, yet simple set, the incredibly talented actors, or the well played music i will never know. All i do know is i will treasure this experience.

Fun! I think the Rent soundtrack is fantastic, and found the movie okay. I never had the opportunity to see it on Broadway, though. Glad you enjoyed it!
Sounds like you had fun! I love watching operas and shows on Broadway too. The last one I saw was Jekyll and Hyde in New York City about 5 years ago, lol.. long time ago. :)

jealous that you got to see a stage production. i adore the musical version, have the original broadway cast soundtrack, but still didn't truly enjoy the movie. glad you loved it!

I love musicals !! Hairspray is my favorite movie of all time... but I wanna see it on broadway so bad I have heard its way better ! I would love to see Rent also I have never seen the movie !
